Elva Mary Catherine Thompson (nee Gauthier) passed away peacefully at Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged on Friday July 1st in her 84th year.
Beloved wife of Ross for 62 years. Loving Mother of Brenda Brown (Terry), Miles Thompson (Shirley), Juanita Baker (Marcel),
Sherri Hunt (Tim), Tammi Turgeon (Mitch).
Cherished by her grandchildren Jason, Matthew, Brandon, Kelly, Evan, Joey, Ryan, Justin, Adam, Ashley.
Proud great grandmother of Dylan, Henry, Alfie, Dalayna, Leah, Makenna, and Lennox.
Predeceased by her daughter Sandra and granddaughter Becky.
Survived by her sister Carleen. Predeceased by her sisters Vivian, Joyce, Bertha and brother Vince.
Friends will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home and Chapel (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound) on Tuesday July 5th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and on Wednesday July 6th from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Wednesday July 6th at 1:00pm.
Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
