The Government of Canada will invest millions of dollars to improve the Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site. A historic infrastructure investment of nearly $250 million will be to restore and improve the historic site. This funding includes repairing bridges, dams, locks and historic masonry structures. The Trent-Severn Waterway is one of Canada s most visited national historic sites, welcoming more than one million visitors each year.
