Parry Sound council will discuss the 2014 budget.
A special meeting will be held tonight in the council chambers at the Town Office beginning at 6:00pm.
Director of Finance Brenda Dobson and her newly hired replacement Trevor Pinn will give a financial and budget overview before council will get into discussing what should be included in this year’s budget.
Also on the agenda is resolution to approve the deferral of the long term debt principal and waive interest payments to the Town of Parry Sound from Found Aircraft until January 1, 2016 as the company has been unable to meet certain financial obligations to the Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport Commission, resulting in a termination of the lease on Hanger #2 and the Boardroom space.
