The countdown is on to the Ontario Winter Games.
In two weeks this unique multi-sported event will begin allowing young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills for national and international competitions.
The majority of the events will be held in Muskoka with some of the competitions being held in Orillia, Oro Medonte, Barrie and Midland.
Approximately 4,000 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers are expected.

While nearly 5,000 spectators will also be in the region to support the athletes and cheer them on in their quest for success.
The games are scheduled from February 27 through March 2, 2014.
