A man from Ahmic Lake is getting an Indspire award. Author Joseph Boyden has been selected for the award through his work in the arts both writing and teaching and his contributions will be celebrated at an awards gala along with 13 other recipients. Indspire is an Indigenous-led registered charity that invests in the education of Indigenous people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
