The Town of Parry Sound is flushing and testing fire hydrants this week. Beginning today, hydrant flushing and flow testing will begin throughout the town. During this exercise, residents and businesses may experience or notice discoloured water, a decrease in water pressure, and washouts from the high volume of water released from the hydrants. Discoloured water should clear by letting the cold water tap run for several minutes and normal water pressure will return once hydrant flushing is no longer taking place in your neighbourhood.
