The Parry Sound Stingers Bantam Girls season is underway. The Girls recently attendedĀ the Newmarket tournament were they pulled out their first win of the season against Midland with the final score of 28-26.Ā This pastĀ FridayĀ night they were able toĀ beat Bracebridge by a score of 35-28, then travelled to SudburyĀ on SundayĀ were they faced Ecole Secondaire MacDonald Cartier.Ā The stingers picked up their game in the fourth Quarter andĀ were able to keep the score close with a 33-27 loss. LaterĀ SundayĀ afternoon theyĀ played againstĀ theĀ Sudbury Jam rep team. It was a Physical game and the Stingers held their ownĀ but came up short with the final score of 50-22.Ā The Stingers will be representing Parry Sound at the Markham Basketball Tournament held later in February.
