Elementary schools ranked by Fraser Institute

The Fraser Institute is out with their rankings of Ontario’s elementary schools.

The overall ranking out of ten is based on nine indicators all derived from reading, writing, and math skills developed and managed by the Education Quality and Accountability Office.

Humphrey School ranked the highest in the Parry Sound area with a score of 5.6.

William Beatty jumped over the past five years from 3.9 to a 5.2 this past year while St. Peter’s saw the biggest drop from 5.4 down to 3.9.

McDougall was down slightly at 4.1 and Victory was up slightly to 3.3.

Nobel scored 2.8.
