Residents mixed on minimum wage increase

Minimum wage in Ontario is about to change.

On June 1st, hourly rates will increase from $10.25 an hour to $11. So what do you think of the increase? We went to the streets to ask.

But, not everyone’s happy. One man explains why he’s against minimum wage all together.

The last time the Ontario government raised minimum wage was back in 2010.

Within the first three years of its strategy, nearly 47,000 children and their families were lifted out of poverty.
