Bracebridge OPP has released the names of the two men who died in a snowmobile crash on Go Home Lake. Twenty-five-year-old James Bates of Milton and 22-year-old Jeffrey Dunlop of Pickering were pronounced dead after being airlifted to West Parry Sound Health Centre. The fatal crash happened in a remote location on the north end of Go Home Lake in Georgian Bay Township early Saturday morning. Bracebridge OPP contacted the Canadian Armed Forces Joint Rescue Coordination centre, based out of CFB Trenton, for assistance reaching the two men. Police are still investigating the cause of the collision and are requesting anyone with information to contact the Bracebridge OPP.
