The Town of Parry Sound has submitted its first report on energy usage and the carbon footprint of all town owned facilities. Mandated by the province, the report due in July of 2013 looked at all the facilities for the 2011 calendar year. The document summarizes the energy usage for the various Town-owned facilities and combined with the size and type of building, those figures were used to find the annual amount of greenhouse gasses emitted by the town.
