The lastest inductees into the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame have been announced. At a press conference yesterday, chair of the selection committee, Dave Garagan, announced that this year’s class will include Mac Childerhose, Allan “Butch” Rochon, the 1959 Parry Sound High School curling team, and the 1964 Mactier Legionnaire Flyers baseball team. Garagan outlined some of the accomplishments that led to Butch Rochon’s induction.

Mac passed away in 1976 but his legacy as a builder in Parry Sound Minor Hockey lives on. This year’s induction ceremony will take place June 28th with tickets available starting February 12th.
