The Rotary Atoms were in the Liftlock tournament over in Peterborough, where they won their first game 8-7 over Shomberg on Friday afternoon.  On Saturday morning the team tied the Muskrat Voyageurs 2-2 then in the afternoon they fell 5-2 to Baltimore.  Their 1-1-1 record just wasn’t enough to advance them into the semifinals.

Parry Sound hosted the Muskoka-Parry Sound Championships and the Ritchie Bantams opened their tournament with a 3-0 loss to Huntsville Friday night.  On Saturday, they lost a tough game against Haliburton 5-2 then on Sunday morning; the team would fall to South Muskoka 4-2.  Sunday afternoon the boys had to face Haliburton in the semifinals and with only 8 players left on the bench because of suspensions and injuries, the team put up a great fight but would come up just short, 3-2.

The Brokerlink Midgets were in South Muskoka for their MPS tournament and lost their first game 3-1 to the Highland Storm.  On Saturday morning, they fell 6-1 to South Muskoka and on Saturday afternoon they downed Huntsville 3-2.  Despite the win in their third game, they didn’t make it to the finals.
