Here is what the Parry Sound Shamrocks were up to this past weekend.

It was a pretty busy weekend for Shamrocks hockey.

On Friday night, the Rotary Atoms hosted South Muskoka at the BOCC and although the game was tied at two for most of the game, the visiting Bears scored twice in the third period to win 4-2.  Meanwhile on Friday, the Brokerlink Midgets were in Huntsville where they tied the Otters 2-2.

On Saturday, the Optimist Novices were in a one day tournament in Coldwater where the team won their first game of the season against Creemore.  The Parry Sound team would face that same team in the consolation final but would fall 1-0.  Elsewhere, the Ritchie Bantams were in Oro where they lost to the Thunder 4-2 while the Midgets were at home for the second half of a home and home with Huntsville.  The home town team won the second game 4-2.

Sunday saw the Optimist Novices host Penetang but fell to the Flames.  After that, the Ritchie Bantams hosted Huntsville and lost a close 3-1 game.  Away from home, the Rotary Atoms were in Oro where they tied the Thunder 2-2.
