Local power utility workers return after helping with southern Ontario’s ice storm

THEY’RE BACK! Local power utility employees are back after giving a helping hand with the ice storm. Lakeland Power and Parry Sound Power Crews returned late last night from assisting Veridian Connections in the Ajax area. The crews left early on the 26th to help restore power in southern Ontario after the ice storm took out the power to hundreds of thousands of customers. The above photo, taken by crew lead hand Greg Boyd, shows trees damaged by the ice. He was with Curtis Healey of Parry Sound Power and Kevin Robertson of Lakeland Power and two trucks.
