A boating incident on the inland side of Big Chute has sent one man to hospital. The 32-year-old was towing another person in a tube with a boat. He had stopped the boat and jumped into the water to take his turn on the tube. However he came into contact with the boat propeller and was seriously injured. Southern Georgian Bay OPP was called in and the man was air lifted to a Toronto hospital. His current condition was not reported.
