Blue-green algae has been detected in another regional lake. This time a bloom has been identified in Jacks Lake in Armour Township. This follows on the heels of blue-green algae being found at Horseshoe Lake Beach in Seguin Township As with early warnings health officials urge residents and visitors not to use the water for drinking, cooking and bathing. Avoid swimming and keep pets out of the water. If you do come into contact with the algae, wash with soap and water and rinse with clean water.
