Today marks Dairy Queen’s 13th annual “Miracle Treat Day” where all proceeds from the sales of Blizzard Treats go to the Children’s Miracle Network. Since Miracle Treat Day started in 1984 more that $100 million has been raised. Here in Parry Sound the proceeds will support Sick Kids in Toronto. Once again this year 10 year old Steven Shurr is the local Miracle Child. Steven has Spina Bifida and makes use of Sick Kids on a regular basis. People are invited to stop in and talk with Steven at Dairy Queen today, buy a blizzard and make a miracle happen.
