The Ontario High School Fishing Championships are coming to Georgian Bay. On Sunday August 9th, students from grades seven to 12 are encouraged to take part in the provincial event that is being held on Georgian Bay near Midland. National Youth Director of the Bass Federation Mark Gintert explains the history of the tournament.
Gintert that although it is a high school competition, they have expanded the age group for this year.
He says that competitors don’t need to have a club at their school to participate.
