A Parry Sound woman has been charged for stealing a change purse. West Parry Sound OPP was called a month ago about a change purse with about $2,500 in it went missing and the owner believed it was left in at a business in town. An investigation found that the purse had been left on the counter and was picked up by a 32-year-old woman. She has been charged with theft under $5000 and failure to comply with a probation order and will answer to those charges in a Parry Sound court in September.
