Seguin man faces impaired driving charges

Stopping unusually long at a stop sign has led to impaired driving charges.  West Parry Sound OPP was patrolling Highway 141 over the weekend when they spotted a pick-up truck stopped at a stop sign waiting to make a left turn.  Police felt it was unusual for the truck to wait as long as it did so they stopped the truck and found that the driver had been drinking.  The 55-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and will face that charge in a Parry Sound court next month.
