This weekend will be the first of it’s kind in Parry Sound. The Town will be home to Open Streets on Sunday, July 12th with the street closed to vehicular traffic from Bay Street to Hillcrest Variety. Glenda Clayton describes what people are encouraged to do in the street that day.
While some intersections will have barricades and police directing traffic through, Clayton explains that others will be closed throughout the day.
She then explains that there will be some intersections where vehicles can cross.
