Burk’s Falls and area may be losing their Children’s Aid Society. A report in North Bay Nipissing News says their sources say the Society is closing down their Burk’s Falls building and moving the operations to North Bay. The newspaper reports that Burk’s Falls Reeve Cathy Still confirmed that a letter outlining the closure was sent to the Village. The office is currently closed but there is a phone outside for emergencies.
