Hockey Canada is holding a skills camp in our area this summer. Manager at Hockey Canada Regional Centre – Ontario Ryan Hurley says this is first week-long camp Hockey Canada has put on in Ontario and Tim McWhirter was a huge promoter of bringing it to the Parry Sound area.
Hurley explains what players can expect from the camp.
He also mentions that a number of other provincial sport organization are expected to be a part of the camp making it not just about hockey.
The camp is an all-day camp focusing on individual hockey skills as well as other athletic skills and runs from July 20th-24th for Novice, Atom, and Peewee aged players. For a link to registration information visit www.hockeycanada.ca/skillscamps.
