It time to get permanent ice huts of local lakes. The deadline for removing ice huts from lakes in the Parry Sound Muskoka region is midnight Tuesday night. It is an offence with the Ministry of Natural Resources to keep ice huts on lakes past the March 31st deadline. Ice huts are still allowed on the ice during the day if the ice is safe to do so but must be taken off at the end of each day.
