Charges laid after police recover stolen snowmobile

Two 32-year-olds have been charged after police recovered a stolen snowmobile.  West Parry Sound OPP was called about a stolen snowmobile on February 12^th that was taken from a Wallbridge Township home on Highway 529.  The investigation found that a truck and trailer came to the home on the night of January 27^th when two suspects cut the security chain and loaded the snowmobile onto the trailer.  On February 19^th, members of the West Parry Sound OPP, the West Parry Sound Criminal Investigations Unit and Almaguin Highlands OPP executed a search warrant at a home in Sundridge and recovered the MSV.  Police charged a man from Strong Township and a woman from Magnetawan each with theft under $5000 and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.
