Charges laid after police recover stolen snowmobile

Two 32-year-olds have been charged after police recovered a stolen snowmobile.  West Parry Sound OPP was called about a stolen snowmobile on February 12th that was taken from a Wallbridge Township home on Highway 529.  The investigation found that a truck and trailer came to the home on the night of January 27th when two suspects cut the security chain and loaded the snowmobile onto the trailer.  On February 19th, members of the West Parry Sound OPP, the West Parry Sound Criminal Investigations Unit and Almaguin Highlands OPP executed a search warrant at a home in Sundridge and recovered the MSV.  Police charged a man from Strong Township and a woman from Magnetawan each with theft under $5000 and possession of marijuana under 30 grams.
