Moose FM listeners raise over $26,000 for local health care

The final numbers from the Moose FM radiothon are in.

This year’s radiothon in support of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation brought in a total of $26,077. The foundation purchased two transports monitors for the hospitals emergency department.

The original cost of the monitors was $28,000 but the health centre foundation managed to purchase them at a few thousand dollars less.

Radio hosts at the Moose collected donations for 12 hours for the annual radiothon. Since 2010, Moose FM has raised $225,827 for the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation
