Miracle Treat Day raises over $9,200 in Parry Sound

The numbers from Miracle Treat Day are in.

This was the 15th annual event hosted by  Dairy Queen to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

This year’s event brought people to the Parry Sound Dairy Queen in droves. People could either donate or support the foundation by buying a blizzard treat. During miracle treat day, 100 per cent of the price of a blizzard went to the Children’s Miracle Network.

According to the local business, 1786 blizzards were sold and $9245.67 was raised for The Hospital for Sick Children through the event at the Parry Sound location.
