It was a banner year for the Georgian Nordic Ski Club wrapping up with the awarding of Banners on Saturday. After a great season for the Georgian Nordic Ski Club racers they have received National recognition at the Cross Country Canada 2016-2017 Club Podium awards this past weekend. The local ski club ranked second overall in Canada for medium category clubs, and was the third most improved among medium category clubs in Canada. The awards were presented on Saturday in Canmore, Alberta. Most of the Cross Country Canada points were earned by the Club’s junior racers coached by Peter Wiltmann of CarlingÂ
