Wasauksing Swing Bridge operating again

The Wasauksing Swing Bridge is now back under regular operation.
Last week a mechanical failure forced the bridge to close.
It wasn’t expected to open up until the end of this week.
Ryan Tabobondung Director of Public Works from the Wasauksing First Nation says the construction company that maintains the bridge has fixed the issue that caused the swing bridge to break down in the first place.
The Wasauksing First Nation also says signage is being put on the swing bridge reminding the public that they operate the Swing Bridge, but it is owned and maintained by the Federal Government.
