A Seguin Township man is some hot water after crashing his e-bike Wednesday afternoon.
At around 4 p.m. the driver hit a parked car on the right shoulder of Miller Street in Parry Sound near the LCBO.
Moose FM received reports that the driver was operating the e-bike with one of his arms in a sling before the collision. Police have since confirmed those reports.
The 18-year-old from Seguin Township was fined for careless driving. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are reminding the public that the rules of the road still apply to e-bikes. Cyclists and riders can still be charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
