After yesterday’s wind, rain and thunderstorms there still remain a few thousand customers without power in our region this morning. Hydro crews are out in force working to restore power as quickly as possible, however this morning the earliest time of restoration is 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. Several of the areas affected include numerous cottages so crews hope to restore power before the expected influx of cottagers for the Victoria Day weekend. Moose FM will update restoration times as the information comes in.
- Around 400 residents between Parry Island and Massassauga Provincial Parkare experiencing outages. Estimated Restoration Time is 4:00
- 109 residents in Mactier are still without power. ETR is 4 p.m.
- Lakeland Power is reporting 300 customers without power between Parry Sound and Bracebridge. ETR is 1 p.m.
