An Ahmic Harbour man is dead following a collisionĀ on highway 124 last night.
Just before 7:30 p.m., West Parry Sound OPP, McKellar Fire Department and Parry Sound EMS responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 124 in McKellar Township.
Police sayĀ a southbound vehicle crossed the centre line colliding with a northbound vehicle. The driver of the southbound motor vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital.Ā The driver of the northbound vehicle isĀ identified as David Robb, 56 from Ahmic Harbour.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was transported to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. PoliceĀ are continuing the investigation.
Highway 124 is closed from Grey Owl Road to Swords Road.Ā A detour is available via Balsam Road.
