Boil Water Advisory remain in effect for Nobel residents

The boil water advisory continues in the village of Nobel.

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has issued the advisory to all residents of the village who get their drinking water from the municipal drinking water system.

Residents of Nobel should not drink the water, use it to brush their teeth, or use it to wash fruit and vegetables that you plan to eat without cooking.  Any water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil and allowed to boil for one minute before use.

The boil water advisory comes after a water main break happened around midnight.  Health Unit staff will continue to monitor this situation and provide updated information as it becomes available.
