A man has been charged by local police twice in two days.
Early Tuesday morning, West Parry Sound OPP spotted a vehicle going more than 50km/h over the limit on Highway 69 in Henvey Township and as the officer tried to catch up to it, the vehicle tailgated a transport truck and then passed it.  The officer was able to pull over the driver and charged the 37-year-old from Scarborough with stunt driving and careless driving, resulting in his driver’s licence being suspended for a week.
Less than 24 hours later, police were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Highway 69 in Pointe au Baril, when the 37-year-old man was seen driving and was charged with driving while under suspension.
He’ll face all of his charges in Parry Sound on November 22nd.
