Police are looking for help in solving a theft from a boat at Hamer Bay Marina. West Parry Sound OPP says sometime between 6:00pm on Saturday and noon Sunday, suspects peeled back the canvas cover of a boat at the marina in Seguin Township and stole a number of items.
Stolen items include a red and white wake surfing board with black foot pads and star shaped emblems, two black neoprene body glove personal floatation devices, and a silver coloured metal wake board rack. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police or to call Crime Stoppers. Officers say the vigilance of community partners watching for and reporting suspicious persons, vehicles, and activities is a key component in preventing and solving crime.
