Man and woman survive three hours of drifting in Georgian Bay due to life jackets

Two people were able to survive three hours in the water and being carried over 20 kilometres in Georgian Bay thanks to their life jackets.
The two were left stranded in the water after falling off a sea-doo off of Wasaga Beach on Sunday evening.
After floating for three hours, the man was spotted by a boat near Tiny Township.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP and marine units were called in to find the woman, who was about two kilometers off shore of Tiny Beaches Road South.
Officials say the two were unharmed and say if they hadn’t been wearing life jackets this situation could have been very different.
