Driver charged with impaired driving after hitting ditch in Tay Township

A Springwater Township woman is facing drinking and driving charges after her vehicle was stuck in a ditch in Tiny Township.

The Southern Georgian Bay OPP says it responded to the scene on County Road 6 South last Friday afternoon.

The 36-year-old driver of the vehicle smelled like alcohol when police arrived.

After a roadside alcohol test, police laid charges for driving above the legal alcohol limit and for driving while impaired.
