A 55-year-old Toronto man faces an impaired driving charge after going through a R.I.D.E. check in Carling. West Parry Sound OPP hosted a R.I.D.E. check at Shebeshekong Road and Highway 559 on Sunday afternoon where an officer determined an eastbound driver had been drinking. The driver was arrested and charged with driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and will face his charge in a Parry Sound court next month. Police say anyone who suspects a driver is driving while impaired is urged to call police by dialing 9-1-1 immediately.
