The flag has been raised to signify Community Living Month in the Town of Parry Sound. This afternoon, Mayor Jamie McGarvey along with Community Living Parry Sound Executive Director Jo-Anne Demick and Board Chair Debbie Jones and other Community Living members raised a flag at the town office to officially declare May as Community Living month. There are many events planned throughout the month including the Mayor’s Breakfast at Wellingtons on May 17th and the annual golf tournament at Rocky Crest on May 25th.
