The 2016 tax rates in Whitestone and McKellar will be discussed tonight. Ahead of Whitestone’s regular council meeting, a public meeting will be held at the Dunchurch Community Centre at 6:30pm to discuss the proposed budget for this year. Council will then consider the By-law to set the tax rates during their regular meeting to be held later in their agenda. In McKellar, council will also discuss a By-law to adopt the tax rates for 2016 at their meeting which starts at 6:30pm after they held a budget meeting last Monday.
