Water restrictions in the Town of Parry Sound start this weekend. Water restrictions begin this Sunday and are in place during the months of May, June, July, August and September for lawn and garden watering. Odd numbered properties can water on odd numbered days between 7:00-10:00am and 7:00-10:00pm while even numbered properties can water at the same times on even numbered days. Properties that have laid new sod, planted new seed, have grubs and are treating their lawn with nematodes, or that are open to the public and can’t water during the permitted hours can apply for a permit. Permits can be requested through the Public Works Department.
