Downtown Parry Sound will continue to see film crews next week

There will be a few intermittent road and sidewalk closures downtown over the next couple of weeks.  NBC Productions will be in the Parry Sound area for the next 3-4 months filming a 10 episode TV series called Eyewitness.  On Monday, May 9th filming will be taking place at 9 Bay Street and the old North Star building and on Tuesday, May 10th they will be filming at the old North Star building as well as at the court house.  During both of these days there will be times where the road and sidewalk in those areas will be closed periodically.  Next Tuesday and Friday, they will be filming interior and exterior shots at the old North Star Building which will affect parking on James Street those days and next Friday they will also be shooting interior shots in an apartment above Subway.  At various times there will also be some filming done at the Car Wash at Bowes & Great North Rd, on the fitness trail bridge over the Seguin River and at the old William Beatty School which could mean limited parking in these areas and intermittent street closures.  All of these dates could change due to weather or a change in the shooting schedule.
