Four historical sites in Seguin will get signage this spring. Last October, the Seguin Museum Committee brought a plan to council to install signs at four identified ports of entry to the township similar to the one at Pratt’s Hotel in Rosseau. On Monday, council approved the plan which will see signs installed to highlight Port Cockburn/Summit House on Lake Joseph, Maple Lake Station/Swords, the Village of Ashdown, and Rosseau Road Station/Deyette’s. The signs will be single-sided and identify the site and its significance while following the township’s branding scheme. The total project is estimated to be around $2,000.
