CP Holiday Train takes off on it’s way across North America

Brightly-lit trains are taking off on a North American tour to raise donations of food for local food banks.  The CP Holiday Trains will leave from the Montreal area later today with live entertainment set to visit about 150 communities.  The Canadian tour comes through our area on Tuesday stopping in Mactier at the old CP station at 2:50pm.  It will then arrive in Parry Sound at the station gallery at 4:15 and then in Shawanaga at the railway crossing at Village Road at 5:30.  All food and money raised locally, stays local with donations in the Parry Sound area going to Harvest Share.  This year, the Holiday Train is asking everyone to follow the train on social media to help spread the message about the importance of heart-healthy donations by using #HealthyDonations.  Here’s how you can follow the train on social media:
