Get Ready to Go Snowmobiling week

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is celebrating Get Ready to Go Snowmobiling Week.  This week until November 30th, the OFSC invites more people to discover the family fun of organized snowmobiling, plus its many social, health and recreational benefits.  The week is also the cue for snowmobilers to prepare their sleds and gear, and to start planning their Ontario rides and marks the final days that Seasonal and Classic Snowmobile Trail Permits are available at pre-December 1st savings.  Following a 30 percent participation increase over the past two seasons, this year saw a 12 percent increase in pre-November 1st permit sales.  OFSC volunteers in Parry Sound and across the province are hard at work clearing, preparing, and signing over 30,000 kilometres of OFSC trails to make them available when snow conditions allow.  This season, Get Ready to Go Snowmobiling Ontario Week also celebrates many OFSC initiatives, sure to help make memorable experiences all winter long, which can be found online at www.ofsc.on.ca.  The OFSC is a volunteer led, not-for-profit association that provides the voice for organized snowmobiling in the Province of Ontario including our local trails across Parry Sound.
