Horseshoe Lake Beach in Seguin has reopened. Yesterday, the Health Unit supported the Township taking down the signs at the beach as no blue green algae blooms have been seen in the lake for the past three weeks. The Municipality will still monitor the beach area and if a bloom reappears, they will repost the signs to warn the public. The warning remains in effect for those who draw their drinking water from the lake at the Health Unit can’t yet determine when the cyanobacteria toxins will be completely gone.
