The Parry Sound-Muskoka NDP Riding Association has voted out their president. Earlier this week, Clyde Mobbley sent his views to a number of local media outlets which didn’t support the NDP and Vice President of the association James Moffat explains that the riding executive had to take swift action.
Mobbley lost to Matt McCarthy in the nomination vote held earlier this year after running as the NDP candidate in the last federal election. Moffat doesn’t think this will affect the NDP candidate and is positive moving forward.
Moving forward, Moffat will assume the duties of the president until the association calls for a vote which isn’t expected until after the Federal Election.
