Shoeboxes are now ready to be filled with Christmas joy for children around the world. Once again this year, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is handling the distribution and collection of Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes that are now ready to be filled. Last year, the Parry Sound and area community sent 458 shoeboxes filled with toy, books, and other presents to children who may otherwise not know the joy of giving and receiving at Christmas. There are 350 boxes now waiting to be picked up and filled with treasures for children at the church on Seguin Street and can be picked up Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Filled boxes must be returned to St. Andrew’s during the week of November 16-22nd.
